Recently, Adam and I were in Portland, Maine for an engagement shoot Adam was photographing. OMG—what a beautiful place! I describe it as a fisherman’s town mixed with a trendy, hipster NYC feel with cobblestone streets—aka add it to the bucket list.
Holy Donut-donuts made from potatoes; weird, yes, but trust me, Maine apple and sweet potato ginger are must tries.
Blake Orchard-delish and super insta-worthy juices and smoothie bowls.
Porthole-fun HH on the water
Flatbread-they have vegan pizza!! Yum!
Blythe and Sparrow-cozy spot for a cocktail AND there's a hidden door to a downstairs bar.
Street and Co.-simply amazing! Atmosphere, food, location, service-spot on.
Portland Lobster Company-fun spot on the water. Live music too! They are only open May-end of October though. You must not leave until you’ve had their lobster roll!!
Portland Head Light-beautiful lighthouse with amazing views (where these shots were taken)
So while we were exploring the town of Portland, more specifically, Old Port, I just so happened to stumble upon..Anthro! So, of course, yes, I had to go in and what do you know, I fell in love with everything! Shocker! BUT I ended up settling on just one ;) Adam approved. This sweater/coat situation is just perfect AND super soft—BONUS! The grey color goes with pretty much anything in your closet. The pockets are such a nice feature as they make it more into a coat. This is a fall, winter staple item that I will be wearing A LOT of! It’s minimalistic and simple, yet it offers that clean, finished, put-together look that we all strive for!
*sizing- I am wearing a size small and it fits perfect! It’s not skin tight but still gives you that tailored look.
