So I ordered this free people outfit online to wear for Thanksgiving and it never came in time! I even payed extra for shipping! I was very upset, but then I thought it's a material thing, be grateful and thankful for everything you have been given, especially on Thanksgiving :)

I love myself a corduroy mini skirt. I used to wear the Abercrombie and Fitch version back in the day. Mini skirts have that feel of being super feminine but also super sexy at the same time. This free people mini in caramel can easily be matched with most colors; cranberry, cream, black, hunter green, denim shirt, you get the picture. I opted for this black free people rib and lace turtleneck. I am not a huge fan of turtlenecks. They make my neck itchy, I get hot and the double chin makes itself known. However, this lovely turtleneck did not make me feel so unattractive. It is not tight on the neck and allows for a little space between your chin and the fabric. I love love love the details on the arms- definitely spices up the look!

And who doesn't love to rock a ponytail? Dirty hair? Ponytail. Too lazy to curl it? Ponytail. According to most men, ponytails are one of the sexiest hairdos on women. I could not agree more. There is just something about them that gives off a flirty effect ;) I call this one, the bombshell messy (cosmo agrees too).

Velvet is not only the material to wear around the holidays, but it also has made its way into modern daywear-take these Steve Madden maroon velvet sneakers for instance. I'm in love with this fabric and how it can amp up your look. Whether you decide to wear heels, boots, flats or sneakers, make a shoe statement in velvet.

Chilly temperatures have hit the east coast so it's time to bundle up! Instead of beanies to keep you warm, go for an earband. This knit earband is from Anthropologie. This is one of the few things that doesn't cost an arm and a leg from that retail heaven! Price tag? $38.

You can never go wrong by rocking a pair of rag & bone jeans. This brand prides itself on quality and attention to detail. The unique detail on these blue acid wash skinnies is pretty sick. They are the ultimate street style find!

And who doesn't love an oversized, comfy sweater? This free people grey sweater makes me just want to cozy up on the couch with some hot chocolate, cuddled next to my babe :)

Feeling a laid-back look but still want to add a trendy item to your outfit? Shop the style below!

One of my favorite birthday gifts are these free people venture ankle boots in the color adobe. I received these loves from my pops- he sure knows how to pick the trendiest items ;) Only kidding! Of course I picked them out! And ya know what? I even helped the old man out a little bit--they were on sale!!!!

I love free people shoes but sometimes I just can't bring myself to spend over $200 dollars on them. I always go online and constantly check to see when those beauties go on sale. 9 times out of 10 I always end up saving myself some money--whooh!

Ankle boots are a type of shoe you can wear in every season. I love how transitional they are with the changing temperatures and changing styles. No matter how the style changes or what season you are in, ankle boots will always be there to make any outfit rock!

Grab yourself a pair of these free people venture ankle boots soon! There are not many sizes left in the adobe color.  However, there are two other pretty chic colors for you to choose from as well; charcoal and sand stone. Even in these colors though, there are only a few sizes left!

Have you ever just wanted a simple, dainty and sophisticated accessory to add to your look? Prisma watches has what you're looking for. Each watch is unique and offers a timeless vibe. I know we all love our Apple watches and other various exercise devices, but when you want to change up your style, go for a watch like this. I love the brass features and the classic detail on this primsa serenity true rose watch.

Prisma watches was founded in 1948 in the Netherlands. Here is a little snapshot of their story:
"The Prisma story started in 1948, when the first Prisma watch was produced from the desire to deliver quality, good looking watches with fair prices. Since the creation of the brand almost 70 years ago, these are the fundamental core values. Our passion is deeply rooted in Dutch culture. Simple, honest and reliable. Prisma was one of the world’s first watch brands with quartz movements in the mid-20th century. This innovation made watches more accurate and less expensive.

Besides offering high quality watches with the best prices, we offer a great diversity in assortment. A beautiful watch is a wonderful expression of character.  In addition to high quality and sophisticated design, we stand for priceless moments. Prisma inspires to get the most out of every moment. Time is your greatest asset, so please don’t spend it on negativity. Enjoy the small things, take it easy and invest in relationships instead. Having a good time doesn’t need to be expensive."

I love the background behind the Primsa watch brand. My favorite comment is that, "a beautiful watch is a wonderful expression of character." This is so true, not only with watches, but with any item of clothing or accessory. In a sense, the way one looks and the things they wear reflect who they are.

Outfits are like a piece of art; you put together the colors and style and create something that expresses you :)

So now, instead of wasting time digging through your purse trying to find your phone to check the time, simply look at your wrist. We all know that feeling when we are looking for our phone and we can't find it, our stomach drops, we freak out, and then we blame the person with us for losing it hehe.
